1. Enroll patients in monitoring Patients are enrolled by cohort, and changes take effect on the next weekly cycle.
2. Receive the webhook The payload carries the patient identifiers, the source timestamps, and a presigned URL for the encounter bundle.
3. Open the encounter behind the alert The bundle resolves into the same consolidated record the rest of the platform reads.

How do ADT notifications differ from an on-demand Network Query? A Network Query retrieves available source data on demand and reports source-specific completion. ADT is a subscription: once a patient is enrolled in premium monitoring, admission, transfer, and discharge events are pushed to you in real time.

When do monitoring-cohort changes take effect? Enrollment additions and removals process weekly on Saturdays. After enrollment is active, resulting admit, transfer, and discharge events are delivered in real time.

What comes with the alert? Each notification identifies the patient, the event type, and the source, with a URL for the related FHIR Patient Encounter Bundle so the clinical record can be retrieved alongside the event.
