# Metriport raises $26 million to give clinicians insight at the point of care

## National feeds and regional HIEs, in one subscription.
Get notified as patients move through the health system via national ADT networks - Bamboo, PointClickCare, and more.

## Join the teams that hear about **admissions and discharges** while there is still time to act.

## The alert, with the chart behind it.

### The stay, and the record behind it
A discharge carries the admission time, the discharge time, and a link to the encounter bundle, so you see what happened, not just that something did.

### Every source, one feed
State and regional exchanges are included, for complete coverage.

### Your own patient ID, on every event
The EHR's ID and ours ride alongside it, so the event lands on the record it belongs to with no extra matching required.

### Pushed, not polled
Enroll a patient once and their admissions, transfers, and discharges arrive as they happen, without being asked for.

## Every event on your panel, the moment it happens.
Metriport watches the networks, you hear when your patient moves.

### The full picture, not a ping.
Knowing a patient went to the ER is a start, but deciding what to do next takes the discharge note, the medication changes, and the follow-up instructions.

### The admission joins the record.
The same platform retrieves the history and receives the event, so an admission is not a second stream to reconcile. It lands in the same record you already query.

### Your panel, not the firehose.
Enrollment scopes the feed to the patients you are accountable for, so every event that arrives is one your team needs to act on.

## How it works

1. **Enroll patients in monitoring**
Patients are enrolled by cohort, and changes take effect on the next weekly cycle.
2. **Receive the webhook**
The payload carries the patient identifiers, the source timestamps, and a presigned URL for the encounter bundle.
3. **Open the encounter behind the alert**
The bundle resolves into the same consolidated record the rest of the platform reads.

### FAQs

**How do ADT notifications differ from an on-demand Network Query?**
A Network Query retrieves available source data on demand and reports source-specific completion. ADT is a subscription: once a patient is enrolled in premium monitoring, admission, transfer, and discharge events are pushed to you in real time.

**When do monitoring-cohort changes take effect?**
Enrollment additions and removals process weekly on Saturdays. After enrollment is active, resulting admit, transfer, and discharge events are delivered in real time.

**What comes with the alert?**
Each notification identifies the patient, the event type, and the source, with a URL for the related FHIR Patient Encounter Bundle so the clinical record can be retrieved alongside the event.
