EHRs | Metriport

Metriport raises $26 million to give clinicians insight at the point of care

Your chart, reconciled both ways.

Turnkey connections to your EHRs to reconcile all internal and external data into a single source of truth.

Join the teams whose chart is reconciled against everything outside it.

One interactive record, wired into your chart.

Longitudinal patient record: Bi-directional Summary, Conditions, Medications, Results, Encounters, Documents, Customizable AI summaries. The patient is a 42-year-old male who is currently on multiple medications to manage various conditions. His medication regimen includes zolpidem 10 mg for sleep…

The whole history, in one interactive record

Native bi-directional integrations with most major EHRs, through an interactive longitudinal patient record.

Search the entire history

Get answers to your questions immediately across the entirety of a patient's medical history.

Put what is missing back in the chart

Reconcile data available in Metriport but not in your patient's chart, through the same connection that brought it in.

The record refreshes before you need it

Customizable event triggers ahead of appointments, auto writeback into the chart, and ingestion into the Metriport platform.

Your chart stops being an island. One record from both sides, and what is missing goes back.

One truth across systems that never agreed.

When your chart and the outside world disagree, someone reconciles it by hand, or nobody does. Matching both into one record removes the choice.

Tono Health— "Metriport's robust infrastructure provided us with an immediate solution to our patients' data across health systems with varying EHRs."

Your EHROutside records One patientBoth records kept, traceable to their source

No integration team required.

The connections are turnkey and follow each EHR's documented workflow. Your chart data starts flowing without a custom pipeline to build or maintain.

Nobody chases records before a visit.

Triggers fire ahead of the appointment, so the outside history is retrieved and written into the chart before the clinician opens it.

How it works

  1. Connect your EHR: Eight documented connections. Patient creation, appointment sync, and query behavior follow each EHR's own guide.
  2. Read the reconciled record: Internal and external history, matched to one patient, converted to FHIR R4, deduplicated, and traceable to its source.
  3. Write back what the chart is missing: Conditions, medications, allergies, and immunizations Metriport holds and your chart does not, sent back down the same connection. Support differs by EHR.
  4. Keep it current on your own triggers: Customizable event triggers (ahead of appointments) re-run the retrieval, the write-back, and the ingestion without anyone asking.

FAQs

  1. How is this different from EHR Apps? Direction, and this page runs both. Your EHR is the data source: Metriport pulls your chart in, reconciles it with everything retrieved from the networks, and writes back what your chart is missing.
  2. Which EHRs have turnkey connections today? Athena, Canvas, Elation, Healthie, Salesforce, Epic, Practice Fusion, and eClinicalWorks are listed in the current EHR documentation, and we are always building more.
  3. What can I do with the record once it is connected? Two things beyond reading it. Global search gets answers to your questions immediately across the entirety of a patient's medical history. Customizable AI summaries transform your lengthiest patient records into one cohesive paragraph consisting of the most pertinent information you need to know about your patient.
  4. What does "single source of truth" actually mean here? Internal and external data are matched to the same patient, converted to FHIR R4, and deduplicated so overlapping encounters, medications, and results appear once. Source references are retained, so any resource can still be traced back to where it came from.
